I will say this tho....This BTR is asskickin. I cant believe this tool! I have been in this game for quite some time now and just got my copy and already have it posting to a few blogs. Using with SEC is the key i think! I love it. I must have 600 blogs running thru rss2blog pro but doesnt compare to blog to rank when you include the rewrite and other features. heck, we can totally customize our posts...Killer app. Kudos...

I purchased BTR on the recommendation of several guys who are making more money (a lot more) than me (LOL - but it's true) as the "must have" blogging tool to take your sites to the next level in terms of getting backlinks and completely automating blogging.

I *love* the fact that it's profile based - unlike my previous blogging program, I set up a profile in each niche and can add blogs from all kinds of services, all kinds of content, etc. from one interface. Nice.

But with server-side, I ran into a few problems. It wasn't auto-posting for me - I had to manually click the "Upload Now." After messing around with it for a few days and trying to get it to work, I got in touch with BTR support and Jimz.

Turns out the host I was using was restricting permissions on the files BTR needed to run (I never would have known that on my own). I switched my SS install to a different server, BTR support went *above and beyond* the call of duty and helped me get my brand new server configured to run properly - both with BTR and just general setup/security issues. I got a lesson in SSH from Jimz to get me started too.

My whole issue too A LOT of time to work out, and most software providers I've dealt with in the past wouldn't just told me "Too bad, doesn't run there, not our problem," and I would've been left in the dust.

I can't thank Jimz and BTR enough for all the time and energy spent getting SS running properly. This is customer support at it finest, and truly amazing to me.

Thanks Jimz - for your help and BTR!

I'm Finally Seeing Success!

I’ve stayed relatively silent over the past four months, but have read and taken in much. Back in October 2005 I fired an SEO guy who did nothing but cost me a lot of money and spam the heck out of the search engines using SEC.

In the past months I’ve seen significant ups and downs, primarily related to trial and error, but I’m finally seeing some very positive results.

History
In October 2004 I started a professional services website in a my niche market. The goal at the time was to give prospective clients a place to view sample reports without having to copy and mail hundreds of 100+-page documents.

I then found PPC advertising, which has been good, but can be very expensive, especially as the competition gets more and more fierce and fraudulent clicks increase on a daily basis.

Then in April 2005 I hired the SEO Pro! He spent 6 months using SEC to spam the search engines. Only through a SEC error link in Yahoo did I figure out what “proprietary (his word)” software he was using. So I set up another site, ordered SEC and ran with it on the new domain! My initial idea was that I would compete with the SEO Pro and compare our positions in 6 months.

At that point I had three sites, all with the same content, they were: myoriginalsite.com, myfavoritedomain.com and thenewdomain.com. The SEO Pro’s setup was on myfavoritedomain.com and mine was on thenewdomain.com. As I learned more I gave up on the 6 month competition and fired him within a month.

I reinstalled SEC on myfavoritedomain.com and ran with it. After a few months I had tons of new listings in all engines from both cloaked domains, but no traffic. I quickly realized that I too was spamming the search engines and it was clear that they did not like the content I was feeding them.

So I started playing with other ideas. I was already using BTR to post to blogs for each site, but I started exploring ways to get RSS feed content on the sites. At this point I made a decision to take the clean site, myoriginalsite.com, and play with it. I added a few rss packages to the site. These were Express RSS and RSStatic, but both had significant limitations. BTW, I am not an affiliate for either, or any software for that matter!

Express RSS’s most significant limitation was that the best feeds I could find were not compatible with the program. Those feeds were highly customizable, but I could find no reasonable way of getting them into the site. Thus I was stuck using generic feeds that had few of my keywords in them.

RSStatic’s greatest flaw is that the content is simply repetitive of other content on the web and its visual display was just plain ugly and not at all blended into the look and feel of the site.

In any event, I set up the two pieces of software so that each of the six pages of the site, brought in (virtual include) a specific page of 15 feeds through Express RSS. Then over time I cleaned up RSStatic and brought it into the fold of the website.

Still results were lackluster at best. I was doing ok with MSN, but that won’t feed the kids. I needed Google results!!!

So I continued to try and figure out how to get the feeds I wanted into Express RSS and finally one day I had a brainstorm… feeds from my own blogs!!! I had already included my favorite feeds, the ones that RSS Express couldn’t handle, in BTR and was posting my favorite content to blogs, but it was fairly untargeted.

So I made some adjustments!

Changes made to websites:
1) Removed SEC from all sites
2) Removed all content from the root of thenewdomain.com and added a WP blog to the root. There was already a subdomain blog, so the site now had two blogs.
3) I blocked the major spiders (G, Y and M) from myfavoritedomain.com and thenewdomain.com
4) I routed all PPC advertising to landing pages on myfavoritedomain.com
5) Opened up another domain altogether for two more blogs. Blocked spiders to this one as well!

I now had a total of six blogs spread across four domains. The site myoriginalsite.com has only six actual pages. I setup six scripts from RSS Express in a spider-blocked folder and (virtual) included one each in the six pages of the site.

What I do with BTR and the 6 Blogs
1) I use BTR to blog and ping to the six blogs with highly targeted feeds
2) I include a targeted subtitle in the Keywords in Title option
3) I use 6 signatures, one for each page of myoriginalsite.com
4) VERY IMPORTANT - The signatures use targeted anchor text
5) I Blog only these six blogs
6) The six RSS express scripts pull the feeds from the 6 WP blogs into the 6 pages of the site.
7) The transition converts the signatures at the bottom of each article into keywords at the bottom of each article.

The Results of My Efforts
1) Google - Myoriginalsite.com is listed in on page 1 positions 3-10 (mostly 4-6) for 9 out of my top 10 keywords.
2) MSN - myoriginalsite.com is continually in positions 1 and 2, or 2 and 3 (yes, both 1and 2, or 2 and 3) for 10 of my top 10 search terms.
3) Yahoo! – Myoriginalsite.com is nowhere to be found in my top terms. About a month ago I made the mistake of switching PPC from myfavoritedomain.com to myoriginalsite.com and Y dropped all positive results for myoriginalsite.com. I have switched the PPC back and with robot blocking, I am hopeful that listings will come back soon.

I am now getting 50-60 visitors to myoriginalsite.com the site per day. Through adsense on that site, I am averaging $8.00 in revenue per day. Conversely, I average 10 to 15 visitors per day to the site myfavoritedomain.com (which is no longer my favorite) through PPC advertising. The ad costs run about $15.00 per day.

I have spent the last three days on the phone all day issuing fee quotes and have brought in $10,000 in work with two retainer checks in hand for 50% of the fees. I am not sure which jobs came from which website, but I can emphatically state that the adsense revenue has offset my PPC costs substantially.

Sorry for the wordiness here, but there were a lot of steps to get to the results. Thanks to all who have posted. Your writings have helped me a great deal. Special thanks to Jim Z for his assistance and efforts in the past months.

My current move focusing in on link building, which I hope will turn the Google corner and get my listings to the top of the page! I would love to get off the PPC train in the next few months and keep the adsense revenue for myself!

I'm also going to have to switch to BTR server-side fairly soon because I see huge ranking swings when I don't post fresh content to the blogs daily... G is continuously crawling the site and doesn't like it when I don't feed it property!

Thanks again-

Diveoz

#1 Google Ranking Back !!!!

In my business there are 5 major keywords that bring in business. I know, I developed them by being the first to have a personal website in 1995 and using it to advertise my business.

In 2000 the major search engines would only list .com URLS and again I was #1.

That was until I landed a major business deal from my website and the word quickly got out to my competitors.

My competition having more money than me, hired web designers and engineers to get listed in the top 10 listings.

My website ended up on page 5 in Google and Yahoo and I was forced to actually pay for advertising.

I purchased BTR from JimZ and I was #1 on 4 of 5 major keywords and #2 on the 5th one in Google.

Last week a couple of my keywords slipped and I began to experiment.

I then used 2 news readers on 2 different IP’s to capture all the feeds from the free blogs that was offered by JimZ.

I use one of the readers in the morning and the other in the afternoon to capture the RSS Feeds.

Let me tell you it only took two days to get my rankings back.

Although very unscientific, this worked for me and maybe for others who are slipping in ranking.

Thanks to JimZ and BTR I am making more money again.

I could not belive it. I think I am getting a hang of using BTR. On January 11, I started a blog that covers, deals, coupons, reviews etc. I gathered all my content, created my catorgies and let BTR loose.

Today, I checked and so far I had 146 unique visitors.

That is really amazing. BTR rocks.

I am still very new to this whole marketing thing. But, this results are very impressive. Google is eating up my blog like crazy and the other search engines are also catching on to my blog.

I do not know what will happen in the future. But, for right now it is great.

I am still confused on what is the best strategy to use to promote my main site. But, I am slowly learning.

Thank you very much Jim. You are definatly a marketing guru.

RE: My results with BTR

Hi,

This is what i have accomplished after a month and a half of using BTR:
Recuperate all my top 10 positions in yahoo after the July update dropped me and i just made 350$ in sales in 24 hours after my traffic increased 400%.

I posted this because i like reading on the forum what other people have accomplished with hard work and help from BTR, it inspires me to continue working.

Thank you Jim and Team!

Hi Jim,

Thank you again for all the help. As I'm sure you know I just got BtR about 12 hours ago; G**gle has been to my new site 66 times already. Keep up the good work.

Success,
Jason

I got the title to work...but the title is repeated in the first line of the post also. I can live with that!

What is so cool is that I spidered my site and added all my root pages as URL....and if a keyword is in the title it amazingly directs you to that page URL...WOW!!....and the signiture is awsome!!

The best way to learn this software is by trial and error...upload and see what you got...and don't ping till you got it down pat!

Great software....looking forward to new features already!!

10 days of using BTR has accomplished what I could not do in a year.

Search terms on google for 'photographer wedding' + my state Have been impossable to get because of the way big pay directories flood the internet.
I have now in a mere 10 days moved into the top 25 rankings on google for a number of related search terms for photographer and I am now in the top 10 listings That were in top 50 for a lot of search terms. It looks like I can look forward to being found.

WOW!

Jim Thanks

Great new version I must say.... Now I can Post to 400 Blogs with just 4 programs running in the background.

Cool I say!

"VERY interesting...

I was almost totally unaware of what BTR did different from RSS2B or any of the others, so this is a pleasant surprise for sure.

J.V."

"Thanks...just want you to know that I chose your product over RSS2Blog because of your helpful and dedicated attitude towards your customers (and SEC forum members.) I had quite a nice conversation with you in the SEC forum a couple weeks ago. Thanks for everything. -- Another Loyal Client Jamie F."

"BTR I learn only from the best!

Thanks Jim! Spiders are quite happy I must say!

"Dear Jim,

I've been online marketing for a while but never have I seen a software work so well as BTR. The Search Engine Spiders are literally indexing my pages and working really well in driving traffic to my websites. Jim's support is one of the best online. Having a marketer and SEO expert like Jim creating such a wonderful software that he uses himself, represents the best investment anyone online should consider in addition to SEC.

A very satisfied customer.

"Thanks for the fast responses to my support tickets. Excellent service!!

"Your program is just what is needed.

"Jim, you are the man. The yahoo feeds are super high quality, and very relevant to my blogs. Beats paying newsgator for them. Awesome!

"BTR's Latest Blogger is quite a wonder.

I find that it works really well with your own website Wordpress blog and with Blogger.com.

This Program has everything that anyone who does B2Ping would want.

1. Link substitution so you get more PR when You update
2. Spidering is on autopilot. I've taken a look at various programs and this does it really well.
3. Plus I think you could always do Blogging and adsense by itself as well to make money online.

Joel"

"I was also a beta tester of BTR V1.1. This new version is extremely powerful. I need to watch I don't get myself in trouble with this thing. It's like SEC Extractor that pings. You can spidering your cloaked site and use those URLs to rewrite the URLs in your blogs. Try doing that with RSStoBlog.

John"

" I'm a beta tester for BTR, I'm a newbie when it comes to blogging. I created my first 5 blogs right after downloading the beta program. I then created a new domain and filled it with useful content. within 4hr of blogging with btr I got crawled by google. All of my pages got crawled that same night. BTR is the Best tool ever, its priceless :-)

Softbrix"

"Hello

Im also a beta-tester of BTR. Im quite new to all internet business so here i will write experiences from a perspective of newbie.

In the beginning I had only one problem ... where from should i take rss feeds - one suggestion from Jim and I was already able to set it up.

I was amazed how simple it is to manage your blogs with that software ( before it ive manually added each post to my 4 blogs ... omg that took alot of time ). To be honest i must say that in the beginning it had some bugs, but atm they were all fixed and now its ok .

I didn't know which one should i choose ( BTR or R2B ... so I've been comparing them ). Here on forum I've seen that most people would advise R2B ... i think in comparison to earlier version of BTR it would be straight way to go ... but now new version of it has caught up with R2B and has so many additional features ... and Jim still adds new !.

Some nice features of BTR are e.g. URL-Rewriting, Spidering any site !, own User-Agents or mixing order of content from rss feeds and more ! It makes your blog look unique.

In a nutshell i will buy a full version, its for sure worth the price ( which is still less than R2B ! ). Vermon"

" This has been a great opportunity so far. I have learned a lot over the past months about SEC and blogging and pinging. I have seen Blog to Rank develop from the beginning to this current one.
Wow, this one is really awesome!

SEC, Blogging and Pinging, that is what it is all about. With Cloakerz you have Jim who is accessable and knowledgeable in all the products, what is compatible, and how it should all work together.

The team at Cloakerz listened to the advice of the people who use the products and who have the needs of a BtR system that will handle multiple accounts and multiple blogs with minimal time and effort.

I believe I was allowed to test because I am still pretty new to all this and still need help along the way. I add the non-expert user end of the spectrum. I needed very minimal help to get started. I had two blogs receiving feeds pretty quickly, and the results were great.

The features are there for a beginner like me and then there are features that I can grow into as I increase my number of blogs and my knowledge. I am still experimenting with a lot of this and I look forward to hearing what the more advanced users are doing with their test.

Get Blog To Rank and Blog and Ping the Night Away.

That is by far the best feature of BTR I surely love most of all as the rewrite of URL's! This surely is one product that every webmaster should have, I can’t even explain how much I truly love this product.

How I have made this success is by reading all you have to offer over there on your forums and on here. It's astonishing from taking all of your posts and printing them out and reading them over and over. It's awesome to see how you can devote all your time here and all over the forums.

Then for your guys’ endless support it’s the main factor on all of your products and services that keeps me with you all as you do, after four years I have seen you all just take the bull by the horns and fully take my profits soar like no other has done for me in five years.

Thank you,
Scott

I was lucky enough to be a part of the beta testing team for the new version of BlogtoRank . I’m probably an excellent candidate since I had not used it before and this automated blogging is all new to me.

Since I did not have prior experience with using BTR, Jim was kind enough to let me take a look at the documentation for BTR. I am very impressed with how well written, easy to understand, and completely thorough this documentation is. Not only did it answer many of the questions I had, it gave me a complete breakdown on how to use this amazing program. Not that this program was difficult to use from the start at all but a well presented set of instructions is definitely a sweet compliment to a great product! Plus there is a step by step quick guide too to help the user get started as quickly as possible! That’s so great, I know I personally love quick guides!

BTR installed without any problems, quick and easy! It is very compact in size and the best part is that it didn’t seem to bog down my computer at all which is great because I love to multitask!

The layout is very clean, simple, and extremely intuitive, you basically navigate from left to right, moving frame to frame to fill in the information to make the automated blogging work.

I really like how BTR lets me create profiles and saves them so I don’t need to input all the information over each time I want to post to my blogs. Finding content with BTR was easier than I thought it would be, all the options are right there in the program, I can search for content, I can choose a file on my hard drive, I can use rss feeds, and I can even spider a site, how amazing is that? Plus once I find content, I can even define which part of the content I want to use!!

Then there’s the pinging part, I didn’t realize there were so many services I could ping to!! I know when I post to my blogs manually, it only alerts a few services but BTR has an extensive list to ping to, from the documentation, it says something about how the list is all the known ones found by their experts! That sounds to me like they did their research.

At the end, you just upload! EASY! Even a newbie like me was able to successfully blog and ping the automated way!! I can definitely see the potential in this program to not only save me tons of time and to make my life lots easier but also to help me automatically blog and ping with content that relate to my site’s topic which of course will help me get spidered and help me to generate more traffic.

All in all, it’s a great product and at a great price!
